Fellow Californians, My name is Michael A. Jackson, I was the Republican Nominee for State Assembly in 2006 and I thank you all for your support. I am asking for your support again in 2008, a year when there will not be an incumbent running (termed out), therefore a year to finally win this district back for the Citizens of California. I am a husband and a father of two children whose future greatly concerns me. I want to make a difference and I need your vote. Restore Sanity to Our State Budget Strengthen California‘s ailing school system Improve our congested highways and infrastructure Encourage development of alternative energy and conservation Promote job growth and retain good jobs You have a choice. I am asking you to reflect on the state of California and how you can help get us back on course. As President Reagan said “Government is not the solution, Government is the problem”, it was true then and it is still true now. I am asking you to hire me as your representative. I am not beholden to special interest groups, unions, or big business. I will provide leadership and work for the Citizens of California and to restore a representative government. We, the Citizens of California need to play an integral role in California’s future! We MUST get involved. More importantly, we must save California for our children! Our children need to grow up to be proud Californians! I will work for the Citizens of California, not the special interest groups. I can make a difference!
