Protecting the California Dream

 Property rights are the building block upon which the entire structure of liberty rests.  If government does not protect property rights, all other freedoms are meaningless.

 Eminent Domain  Proposition 90:

Government Acquisition, Regulation of Private Property. Initiative Constitutional Amendment.

The Senate Bill could not make it out of committee in the Legislature.  Property rights are a fundamental part of Democracy, if Government can punish people by taking away their homes for the benefit of the politically connected, then no one will be able to oppose the tyranny of Government.  They will be cowed by the ability to take their home.
